About us We are one of the oldest Humane Societies in the United States established 146 years ago. We operate a 31,000 sq ft lifesaving shelter which houses over 8,000 animals a year. We are open 7 days a week and operate two High Quality-Low Fee Spay and Neuter clinics. We reunite lost pets with their guardians and educate thousands of children in local schools.
